The Courts will specify the new date

Varanasi (UP) – The Civil Court of Varanasi had ordered a survey and video recording of the Gyanvapi Mosque and the Shringar Gauri Temple. Of the above mentioned the survey of the Shringar Gauri Temple has been completed, but that of the Gyanvapi Mosque could not be done because of the opposition of the Muslims. On the 9th of May, the Court heard the Advocate Commissioner and the lawyers of both sides and reiterated that there will be a survey and videography, and have specified the 10th of May for the same.

It had been reported in the media that from among the 5 Hindu petitioners Rakhi Singh has withdrawn her petition, but on the 9th of May, it was clarified that she had not withdrawn it. The five Hindu petitioners remain; Rakhi Singh, Sita Sahu, Manju Vyas, Laxmi Devi, and Rekha Pathak.
