Neither riots nor any verbal conflict during Shriramnavami in UP : Yogi Adityanath

Editorial comment

The need of the hour is to curb the religious fanatics who are terrorising by attacking Hindus’ religious processions. Devout Hindus feel that other States should also follow what the Yogi Adityanath Government did to prevent riots and control the fanatics.

Lucknow (UP) – On 10th April, the day of Shriramnavami, religious fanatics attacked Hindus’ processions in many States across the country and caused riots.

Commenting on this, Yogi Adityanath, the CM of UP, said at a function in UP, leave alone riots in UP, which has a population of 250 million and with more than 800 Ramnavmi processions organised across the State there has been no simple verbal conflict (“Tu Tu Main Main”) either. During this period, the holy month of Ramzan is in full swing and Iftar feasts are being organised in many places.

In a video of the event, tweeted by Yogi Adityanath, he said that it was made possible by Uttar Pradesh’s new development policy. There is no place for riots, bullying and separatist elements in the State.
