New Delhi – A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court seeking the rescue of more than 200 Indian students stranded in Ukraine. While hearing a plea on the same, Chief Justice of India NV Ramana referred to a video circulated on social media.

In the video, people have asked what has Chief Justice NV Ramana done to rescue the stranded Indian students from Ukraine ? Reacting to this question Ramana asked, “Can we ask Russian President Vladimir Putin to stop the war?”

Chief Justice further said, “We have full sympathy and concern with the students. The Government of India is doing its job. However, we will ask the Attorney-General to look into the issue.”
