Do not travel to India, rape and terrorism on the rise! : USA warns its citizens

The crime rate is way more in the US than in India. Given the number of crimes and racial attacks that occur every day in the US, such travel advisory from the United States is hypocritical.

Washington (US) – The United States has said that “American citizens should not travel to the State of Jammu and Kashmir in view of terrorism and civil unrest”.

Do not travel within 10 km of the Indo-Pakistan border. Possibility of armed conflicts.  According to a report by Indian authorities, rape is one of the fastest-growing crimes in India. Violent crimes like sexual assault have occurred in tourist and other places. Think again.
