Kashmir was the ‘Silicon Valley’ of the world before the Islamic invasion ! : Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, Film Director

(Silicon Valley in the United States is known as the current global hub of Science and Technology)

Various events scheduled in the US for the upcoming film ‘The Kashmir Files’ which sheds light on the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus

New Delhi – Writer-director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, who is currently stationed in the USA for over a month-long schedule for the screenings of his highly-anticipated movie ‘The Kashmir Files’ across different cities, said, ‘Goddess Saraswati was worshipped in Kashmir. The land was Silicon Valley of the world before the Islamic invasion. The river of knowledge used to flow here. That is the reason India was invaded. Religious fundamentalists have plundered India for hundreds of years. The land of the world’s oldest and greatest scholars has been annihilated in the form of Kashmir’. He was speaking on ‘Kashmir and Ideological Terrorism’ at the University of Denver in the US on 16th December to promote his upcoming film ‘The Kashmir Files’.

The film ‘The Kashmir Files’, which sheds light on the indiscriminate atrocities perpetrated on Kashmiri Hindus, will be released globally on 26th January 2022. Vivek Agnihotri has been touring the US for the past few weeks to promote the film. He also spoke at Capitol Hill on 4th December.

Speaking at an event at the University of Denver, Agnihotri said,

1. Afghanistan was once a cultural land. Due to the greatness of Hindu Dharma, Afghanistan has got a glorious history. Today, we are witnessing the situation in Afghanistan due to jihadi terrorism.

2. Yoga originated in Kashmir. Yoga seeks to prevent diseases, while modern medical sciences work to treat diseases after the disease happens. The Upanishads originated in Kashmir. German and other Western thinkers mainly studied the Upanishads.

3. The whole world is divided into ‘Left vs. Right’ ideology, ‘Eastern vs. Western’. Due to these ideological differences, jihadi terrorists have been gaining ground. Deity Shiva said thousands of years ago that his third eye symbolises the unification of all ideologies. I hail from the land that has taught to bring the whole world together. The world has got the divine qualities of compassion, comprehensiveness, etc. from India. Hindu Dharma teaches respect for all. Our religion teaches us to transit into oneness from many.

4. Foreigners will have to visit my homeland to seek answers to the mystery of life, family system, the importance of faith, ‘Where did I come from ?’, ‘What is the purpose of my life ?’. If you want to make money, you will have to go to the US.

5. India has taught the world the lesson of going from ignorance to knowledge, from darkness to light. We have been extremely patient. Because of our restraint, our culture, which is one of the oldest in the world, has survived to this day. We will continue to fight terrorism for the next 5,000 years. We feel that the world is one. That is why we get strength.

6. The attacks on Charlie Hebdo in France and the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai are the results of religious fundamentalism. Kashmir, which used to be 100% Hindu, has become deprived of Hindus today. On 19th January 1990, jihadi terrorists attacked Hindus in Kashmir. At that time, due to the financial support received from Russia and to some extent from the United States, terrorists attacked Hindus using weapons. 5 lakh Hindus had to flee. Despite all this, Kashmiri Hindus never avenged it, nor did they ever make any provocative speech !

The film ‘The Kashmir Files’ is meant to shed light on terrorism not seen by humanity !

Fatwas were issued against me for making a film highlighting the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus. It is necessary to understand this film to fight terrorism. The Kashmir Files is a film about terrorism that humanity has not seen. Today, lakhs of Kashmiri Hindus are forced to live as refugees for 32 years. The Holocaust ended with Hitler in Germany, but the terrorism in Kashmir continues today even after the death of Osama Bin Laden. Therefore, this film not only sheds light on grief, oppression, etc., but it also works to create awareness.
