New Delhi – “The former Police Inspector Param Bir Singh is still in the country. He is not absconding. Mumbai Police is a threat to his life. Hence, he doesn’t appear in the Court”. His Counsel said in the Supreme Court that his client will appear in the CBI office or the Court in 48 hours provided he gets protection from his arrest. After that, the Supreme Court has exempted him from arrest. The Supreme Court has ordered Param Bir Singh to cooperate in the investigation. At the time of the previous hearing, the Supreme Court had asked his advocate whereabouts of Param Bir Singh. In response, the advocate gave the above explanation.

Showing the willingness to schedule the hearing of the petition of Param Bir Singh, the Supreme Court has sent a notice to the Government of Maharashtra and CBI. The next hearing of this case is scheduled for 6th December.
