Congress MP Mohammad Javed’s outrageous claim

Kishanganj (Bihar) – Congress MP Mohammad Javed made a controversial statement amid the ongoing dispute over teaching Urdu in Bihar’s new degree colleges, claiming, ‘Hindi and Urdu are indigenous to our country, but Sanskrut is a language that came from the outside.’
"Hindi and Urdu are Indian languages, while Sanskrit came from the outside!" – Congress MP Mohammad Javed (Kishanganj, Bihar).
Even a child knows how historically inaccurate this is. This statement stems purely from bias.

MP Javed accused the BJP-led coalition government in Bihar of failing to introduce Urdu education in newly established degree colleges. He termed the decision an injustice to Urdu-speaking students and urged the government to reconsider it immediately. Highlighting that Bihar has a significant population of Urdu-speaking students, he pointed out that the new colleges lack any provisions for the language. He demanded the establishment of Urdu departments in all new degree colleges to ensure students have the opportunity to pursue higher education in their preferred language.
