Birajpur School gives holiday for allowing Muslim students in Jharkhand to offer Namaz

Jamatara (Jharkhand) – On 1st October, the Birajpur High School in the District declared a holiday on Friday, for allowing Muslim Students to offer Namaz, without any Government consent. Hence, the whole area is agitated over this. District Education Officer Abhay Shankar has issued a notice to the Management Committee of the school. No action is taken so far on anyone.


An elected candidate from Nala Constituency Rabindranath Mahato of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha is the President of the Jharkhand Assembly. He had proposed making a prayer room inside the Jharkhand assembly. (When a Party full of such individuals is in power, then one need not be surprised if the State turns Islamic ! – Editor) BJP opposed this proposal vehemently; hence, it is still pending.

In this school Muslim students are in majority. In Jamatara District there are around 6 Urdu primary and middle schools and these schools are given a holiday for offering Namaz on Friday instead of Sunday.

Bharatiya Janata Party’s Jharkhand President Deepak Prakash said that such incidents are not limited to 1 or 2 Districts; such situation prevails all over Jharkhand. Anup Rai of VHP said that the school Management Committee believes in Talibani orders.
