What the American organisation knows is also known to the rest of the world and the United Nations, but none of them is doing anything to prevent it. Given this, India must abandon the soft approach and adopt an aggressive policy !

Washington DC (US) – According to the US Congressional Research Service (CRC), Pakistan is home to 12 of the most active terrorist organisations in the world. Out of these 12 organisations, 5 are targeting India, it said. Some of these organisations have been active in Pakistan since 1980, the report states.

According to the report –

Lashkar-e-Taiba was established in 1980 in Pakistan. In 2001, the group was designated as the Global Terrorist Organisation. In 2008, this group carried out a terrorist attack in Mumbai. It has carried out other terrorist attacks too.

Jaish-e-Mohammed was formed in 2002. The group was founded by terrorist Masood Azhar. Jaish-e-Mohammed has carried out several terrorist attacks in India.

Hizbul Mujahideen was founded as a political party in 1989; however, several terrorist attacks were carried out by this organisation. In 2017, this terrorist organisation was designated as the ‘Global Terrorist Organisation’.

Harkat-ul-Jihad-e-Islami was formed in 1980. It was formed to counter the Soviet army; but by 2010, it had become a ‘global terrorist organisation’. According to sources, the group has carried out various terrorist attacks in India since 1989.
