Pakistan rattled by the anti-encroachment drive against religious fanatics in Assam

Editorial comment

Pakistan who repeatedly pokes its nose in India’s internal matters needs to be taught a strong lesson in a befitting language.

Islamabad (Pakistan) – Thousands of religious fanatics attacked an anti-encroachment squad and Police in Dholpur in Assam’s Darang District on Friday. Saddam Hussain and Sheikh Forid were killed in a self-defence shooting by the Police.

Pakistan was fuming due to the action taken against religious fanatics. Pakistan summoned the Indian High Commissioner and said Muslims were being targeted in Assam. India should investigate this ‘anti-Muslim violence’ and take action against the culprits.
