
Mumbai – Sanatan’s Saint H.H. Raghunath Vaman Rane (Age 82), originally from village Ozaram, Maharashtra, later lived at Thane. He renounced His body on 11th July 2021 at 2 a.m. in a Mumbai hospital. He is survived by His wife, 2 sons, 1 daughter, 1 daugh-ter-in-law, son-in-law and grandchildren. His last rites were performed on 12th July at Balkum, Thane.
H.H. Rane commenced spiritual practice under the guidance of Sanatan Sanstha in 1999 at the age of 60. He attained Sainthood in just 16 years of spiritual practice, which He performed with intense yearning. He was declared the 47th Saint of Sanatan on 15th March 2015. From 2011 to 2015, He performed satseva at Tapodham in Ayani-Mete, Taluka Khed, District Ratnagiri.
Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale had praised H.H. Rane saying, ‘With characteristics such as complete sacrifice, incessant satseva, love for everyone, no complaining, etc. He set an example of an ideal Saint not only for seekers but many Saints too’.
