New Delhi – On the backdrop of increasing number of cases of Covid in the country, the State Government has imposed various Covid rules. However, violating all the covid rules in many places in India, people gathered on the streets to offer Namaz on the eve of Ramazan Eid on 14th May.

- Muslims had gathered in Khairuddin Hall Bazar in Amritsar and outside Jama Masjid in Ludhiana in Punjab. They offered Namaz on the street outside the Jama Masjid. Many of them were even without masks.
- Many Muslims had rushed to the markets for the shopping prior to Eid in many places. One of such places was Char Minar in Hyderabad. None of the Covid rules were observed.
- The gatherings were also observed in Bhendibazar, a Muslim dominated area in Mumbai, Seelampur in Delhi and Firozabad in Uttar Pradesh.
