Bengaluru – BJP MP Tejasvi Surya has made an accusation that the State Administration in Bengaluru is taking bribes to allot beds to Covid patients in hospitals.
Surya said, “Bangalore Municipality authorities, external agents, head of Covid War room and call centre are all involved in this scam. Beds are reserved in the names of asymptomatic people and after 12 hours these are allotted to coronavirus patients by taking bribe from them.” He claimed that 4065 such cases have come to light in the last 7-8 days. He demanded that the hospitals’ data available in the computer be examined to verify the truth of his claims. He asked, “Even after patients are discharged or after patients die, why are beds not made available in hospitals ?”
