Ahmedabad (Gujarat) – Rafiq Hussain Bhatuk, the prime accused in 2002 Godhra train burning case, was arrested from Godhra town after 19 years. In 2002, a mob of religious fanatics had burned down a coach of the Sabarmati Express. 59 karsevaks returning from Ayodhya had been burned alive. Bhatuk, a labourer at the Godhra railway station had fled Godhra immediately after his name cropped up during the investigation. He was finally trapped and arrested after 19 years when he came to meet his family in Godhra.
