Several people injured

Moradabad (Uttar Pradesh) – In Bahadurpur village, Muslims attacked Hindus over the loud sound of a Kirtan. The attack involved stone pelting and baton assaults, leaving several people injured, who were later hospitalized. The police have registered cases against 16 identified individuals and several unidentified ones. The area remains tense, and security has been heightened with a heavy police presence.

1. The Hindu women alleged that some Muslims attempted to stop the Kirtan. As the argument escalated, stones were thrown at them, injuring several people.

2. According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Kunwar Akash Singh, the conflict began on the evening of March 24 when an animal entered the mosque, triggering a dispute. This led to a heated argument between both groups, which eventually turned violent. The situation further intensified due to the loud sound of the Kirtan.

Editorial Perspective

Even under Yogi Adityanath’s strict governance in Uttar Pradesh, such incidents show that extremists remain undeterred. This also reflects deep-seated anti-Hindu hatred in their minds.
