Ahmedabad – 31- year-old Payal Shah is determined to quit her job with a 15 lakh salary from a well known firm in Mumbai to become a Jain Sadhvi. She would leave her current materialistic life on 24th February through a Diksha ceremony in Surat. Payal Shah is a qualified CA. She was inspired by Pujya Sadhviji Prashamlochnashriji to take this decision.

Payal Shah said, “My journey started about seven years when I began visiting Jain sadhvis living near our house in Mumbai. I was struck by the fact that they were all happy and content despite not having a holiday or even a mobile phone. Then I started living with the sadhvis. I must have lived with them for at least a year. This is when the inward journey began.”
