Washington – California State University has announced the setting up of an endowed chair in Hindu and Jain Studies, which will be an integral part of its religious studies program. 24 Indian-Americans have contributed to this. A professor who holds expertise in both Hinduism and Jainism will be appointed as an interim chair.
