Such an action has never been taken in India in the last three decades. Therefore, it has not been possible to stop terrorist attacks in India. When will India learn from other countries about how to take strong action against terrorist organisations ?

Canberra (Australia) – Australia has decided to revoke the citizenship of Algerian-born Abdul Nacer Benbrika, a Muslim scholar. He was convicted of leading an organisation that planned to bomb a football match in Melbourne in 2005. This is the first instance of citizenship being revoked while a person is still in Australia. As per the law, only if it is proved that a person has dual citizenship, Australian citizenship can be revoked.
Abdul was convicted as he was found guilty of running a terrorist organisation, participating in a terrorist organisation and planning the terror attacks. He was given 15 years imprisonment. He continues to be in prison despite completing his sentence as another case is still on. According to the National Terrorism Law, any person can be detained for three years even after the completion of their sentence.
