
Lucknow (UP)- Uttar Pradesh Cabinet approved a proposal to name the international airport in Ayodhya as ‘Maryada Purushottam Shriam Airport, Ayodhya’. The proposed construction plan in this regard has also been sanctioned by the UP State Cabinet. After it is approved by the State Assembly, it would be submitted to the Civil Aviation Ministry. The State Government will make around 600 acre land available to the Indian Airport Authority. Expenditure of Rs. 500 crore is proposed in the budget of the Government for the proposed airport and facilities related to it.
