Kolkata – A group of delivery partners of Zomato food delivery company resigned collectively as a backdrop of soldier clashes between India and China. They appealed through the agitation that the company Zomato having Chinese investments should be banned and people should also not order food through Zomato. They said that, ‘We protest against China who earns profit from India and attacks Indian soldiers.’ In 2018, Ant Financial, a part of Chinese company Alibaba, had invested USD 21 crores in Zomato for a 14.7 per cent stake.
