Lucknow (UP) – CM Yogi Adityanath of Uttar Pradesh has strongly attacked Tablighi Jamaat over Corona. In a TV interview given to a private news channel, Yogi Adityanath said, ‘If no timely action was taken against Tablighi Jamaat, there would have been anarchy in UP. The Jamaatis hid the disease. These are intentional acts, which are unforgivable crimes. If they had not hidden the disease, there would have been the least Covid-19 cases today.’ CM Yogi also said that he would definitely take action against these people.
Yogi has blamed the people of Tablighi Jamaat for spreading Corona in the State. He said, ‘Jamatis hid the disease. It is not acceptable for you to spread the disease in secret. I have no hesitation in saying that the infection spread very fast due to this attitude of Tablighi. Today we have about 1,600 active cases in which more than 1,000 Tablighi people were involved in this situation.’
Deliberate acts are an unforgivable crime.
CM Yogi further said, ‘The administration should have been informed. By not doing so, they hid and made false statements and spread superstition among the people as soon as they saw a large population was affected. The kind of acts they deliberately committed is an unforgivable crime. More than 3,000 cases in UP resulted from Tablighi’s travel from place to place. Our Police caught them and quarantined them. Then they were sent to the hospital, they spread Corona there also.
Yogi Adityanath, while giving hints of strict action, said, ‘If they had not hidden the disease, there would have been fewer Corona cases. We will definitely take action against them. Nizamuddin Markaz and Tablighi Jamaat did the work of hiding.
The culprit should not be associated with caste, creed and religion. If the crime is committed, then action should be taken under the provisions of the law. Those who are defending this type of people are messing with the sentiments of the country. No one can be allowed to spread chaos. People will never forgive them.
