Hindu priest recites Vedic Shanti Path at White House in America

President Donald Trump was present on this auspicious occasion

Vedic Path can be performed in the White House in America, but not in the Indian Parliament, just because India is a secular country !

Washington (US) – On the occasion of National Prayer Day, a prayer meeting was organised at White House, residence of the US President. Service to pray for the health, safety and well-being of everyone affected by the coronavirus pandemic. President Donald Trump invited BAPS Swaminarayan temple priest Harish Brahmbhatt to recite Vedic Path in the Rose Garden of White House. Harish Brahmbhatt recited the Vedic Path and translated it in English for the audience. President Trump and his wife Melania Trump were present for the Vedic Path.

1. Brahmbhatt said in his prayer, “The voice of this prayer for peace reaches the heaven. Let there be peace in the sky, earth, water, forests and farms, let there be peace everywhere. Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti.”

2. Harish Brahmbhatt said that Shanti Path is not performed for acquisition of wealth, riches, fame, success and heaven. This is a beautiful Hindu prayer for peace. This a Vedic prayer described in Yajuveda.

3. The President thanked Mr Brahmbhatt after the prayer. “In recent weeks and days, our country has endured a grave hardship, I ask all Americans to join their voices and their hearts in spiritual union as we ask our Lord in heaven for strength and solace, for courage and comfort, for hope and healing, for recovery and for renewal,” said President Trump.
