Saharanpur (Uttar Pradesh) – The mother of Seema Chaudhary, who is posted as the District Supply Officer in Hapur, has filed a complaint against her. The mother, Munesh Rani, has levelled serious allegations against her daughter, including cheating, preparing forged documents, conspiring to grab land and depositing ₹15 lakh of illegally earned money into her bank account. Following this, the Police have registered a case against Seema Chaudhary and 5 others.

1. Munesh Rani has filed a complaint with the Deputy Inspector General of Police against her daughter Seema Chaudhary and 5 others. In her complaint, she has named Sanjeev Kumar Chaudhary, Rajendra Rana, Gambhir, Naresh Kumar and Seema Chaudhary as the accused. She has alleged that her daughter Seema Chaudhary and the other accused have joined hands and operate as a land mafia gang. She further alleged that this gang grabs plots of land.

2. The complaint states, “Sanjeev Kumar and Rajendra Rana deposited ₹15 lakh into my bank account without informing me. This account had been opened by my daughter Seema Chaudhary at an ICICI Bank branch in Ghaziabad, and she herself was operating it. While opening the account, Seema Chaudhary used her own email address. Seema Chaudhary was depositing her black money into my bank account. I had no knowledge of this.”

3. In the complaint, Munesh Rani also stated, “The accused are threatening me and have threatened to kill me.”

4. Deputy Inspector General of Police Abhishek Singh said that Munesh Rani had submitted a complaint to him, and the matter had been forwarded to the Superintendent of Police for an enquiry.

5. After the investigation, a case has been registered against Seema Chaudhary and the others. So far, neither Seema Chaudhary nor any of the other accused has issued any response in this matter.

Editorial Perspective

In India, those involved in corruption generally do not face opposition from their families; rather, family members also benefit from their illegally earned money. This is why corruption flourishes. The truth in this case will emerge after the enquiry; however, if principled mothers like this, who complain against their own daughters for corruption, were found everywhere, it would not take long to eradicate corruption from India!
