20 Ministers also sworn in
Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) – Congress leader V. D. Satheesan took oath as the Chief Minister of Kerala. Governor Rajendra Arlekar administered the oath of office to the Chief Minister as well as to 20 Ministers in his Cabinet. The programme was attended by Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, former Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, BJP leader Rajeev Chandrasekhar, along with the Chief Ministers of all Congress-ruled States. Congress MP Shashi Tharoor was not present at the event as he was abroad.
