Fears of action by BJP

Kolkata (Bengal) – After BJP gaining majority in Bengal, some of the Trinamool Congress Party (TMC) leaders seem to be scared. They either want to switch to BJP or patch up with BJP, out of fear of action against them. TMC’s spokesperson has been continuously asking for forgiveness from BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari. No response has so far been received from BJP.
Objectionable statements made against Suvendu Adhikari
Riju Dutta had passed insulting comments against Suvendu Adhikari in the last few days and its video has become viral. Now, he is repenting the statements made by him; therefore, he is pleading for forgiveness. He has claimed that the statements were made under pressure. He was forced to speak and do things under pressure and he did so for the safety of his family and self. He is only a spokesperson of TMC and not a leader.
