Immigrants come to America from ‘hell-like’ places such as China, India, and others, claims Donald Trump !

Outrageous statement by US President Donald Trump on immigrants

US President Donald Trump

Washington (USA) – US President Donald Trump has sparked controversy with a provocative remark, claiming that immigrants come to America from China, India or other “hell-like” places on Earth. He further stated that these immigrants have children in the United States, who automatically become American citizens, and later bring their entire families from countries like China and India. Through this statement, Trump has once again reignited the debate over birthright citizenship in the United States. The scope of this issue is currently under hearing in the Supreme Court of the United States.

Trump made this statement in a post amid the ongoing legal developments concerning birthright citizenship.

“America will lose its ‘prestige’!”

Commenting on the upcoming ruling regarding birthright citizenship, Trump said that if the decision goes against the country — which he believes is likely — the United States would suffer massive economic losses. More importantly, he added, America would lose its “prestige”. (It is Trump himself who has already reduced whatever remained of America’s prestige to dust; hence, there is little left for the country to lose ! – Editor)

Trump further remarked that, “Until I realised what was truly happening, I was a big supporter of Indians.” He also referred to a video claiming that in certain parts of the United States, particularly in California’s technology sector, Indians dominate hiring processes. He asserted that he is certain of this claim and that there is no need for anyone to argue with him on the matter.

However, it is being widely pointed out that Trump’s claims have been made without any supporting evidence.

Editorial Perspective

The United States has, for decades, contributed to destabilising several nations across the world — a reality evident in countries such as Afghanistan, Syria, and Iran. In this context, America making derogatory remarks about India and other nations appears deeply ironic.
