Petition against the entire 'Vande Mataram' rejected !

Bengaluru (Karnataka) – The Karnataka High Court has upheld the Central Government’s decision to recite the entire ‘Vande Mataram’ with 6 stanzas in schools every day. The Karnataka High Court recently dismissed a petition seeking to declare the Central Government’s decision as unconstitutional.
The petition filed by advocate Somashekar of Bengaluru was heard before a bench headed by Chief Justice Vibhu Bakhru. Additional Solicitor General Arvind Kamath, pleaded for the Central Government. He pointed out the bench that the Supreme Court had recently dismissed a similar plea. The High Court dismissed the petition after hearing arguments from both sides.
