New Delhi – If Iran attempts to stop the supply of oil through the Strait of Hormuz, the United States will attack it with 20 times greater force. The war will continue until the enemy is completely destroyed. Since the beginning of the war, the United States and Israel together have carried out attacks on more than 5 thousand locations in Iran. Some extremely important locations have deliberately not been targeted yet so that action can be taken later if necessary. The United States and Israel have gained a significant advantage in this war and it is possible that the war may end soon; however, military operations will continue for now, stated the President of the United States, Donald Trump, during a press conference held in the city of Doral in the state of Florida.

Trump had appealed to Australia to grant asylum to Iranian women football players. He had said that if they were sent back to Iran, their lives could be in danger and it would be a major humanitarian mistake. He had also said that if Australia was not willing to grant them asylum, the United States was ready to do so. After this appeal, Australia granted humanitarian visas to five players from the Iranian women’s football team, allowing them to stay in the country. The players have been taken to a secure location by the police.
After the attack on Iran during the ongoing Women’s Asian Football Cup in Australia, the Iranian women’s team did not sing the national anthem, which was viewed as a protest against the government. Subsequently, Iranian media described the players as “traitors” and demanded action against them.

These are the same people who were demanding a Nobel Prize for Trump ! – Senior Pakistani journalist criticises government
Senior Pakistani journalist Najam Sethi criticised the Shehbaz Sharif government. These are the same people who were earlier demanding that Donald Trump be awarded the Nobel Prize. Why are these same people not approaching Trump now to seek the kind of concessions on oil that are given to India ? Sethi asked this question while speaking on a news channel.
Politicians may have to flee the country !
Sethi further said, “What kind of policies is the government making ? There is tremendous anger among the public against the government. If this anger erupts, you will not even realise it. You may have to board a plane and flee the country. Please do not drop this bomb of rising oil prices on the public. If you want to drop this bomb, then impose it on bureaucrats and officials by reducing their facilities.”
Restriction on sale of petrol and diesel in Bangladesh : Two-wheelers to get only 2 litres of petrol per day
The Bangladesh government has been compelled to impose restrictions on the sale of petrol and diesel. Long queues have formed outside petrol pumps in the capital Dhaka and several other cities as people are trying to buy and store more fuel out of fear. To prevent hoarding and rumours, the Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation has implemented strict rules. Two-wheelers will now receive only 2 litres of petrol per day. A maximum limit of 10 litres has been fixed for private vehicles, while buses and trucks will be allowed between 70 and 220 litres. Issuing receipts at every petrol pump has been made mandatory and new fuel will not be given without showing the receipt of the previous purchase. The government has appealed to people not to panic and hoard fuel.

Editorial PerspectiveBangladesh, which openly shows hostility towards India and where Hindus are facing genocide, remembers India and its Hindu rulers only in times of crisis. India must take advantage of this situation to demand protection for Hindus there. Otherwise, religious fanatics in Bangladesh will only display their ingratitude, as history has repeatedly shown. |
