Muslims surround Police station in Khandwa (Madhya Pradesh) after alleged objectionable post about a Muslim cleric !

Police resort to lathi charge after a man grabs a Police officer’s collar

Khandwa (Madhya Pradesh) – Hundreds of Muslims surrounded a Police station here to protest against an alleged objectionable comment about a Muslim cleric posted on social media. When the Police attempted to pacify the crowd, one Muslim grabbed the collar of the Police station in-charge, leading to an argument. Following this, the Police resorted to a lathi charge to disperse the Muslim mob.

In this case, a young woman alleged that she was assaulted by some Muslims. She arrived at the Police station with a swollen face. According to her complaint, some youths who were part of the mob assaulted her. She sustained a head injury and swelling on her face was clearly visible. The Police have registered a case and taken some persons into custody.

When someone insults their religious beliefs, Muslims immediately take the law into their own hands, whereas Hindus often do not even express their protest through lawful means !
