Jammu & Kashmir – During an anti-terror operation in the Chhatru area of Kishtwar, an Indian Army dog named ‘Tyson’ played a crucial role. Tyson accurately traced the hiding location of the terrorists and, during the exchange of fire, took the first bullet fired by the militants. In the encounter, a commander of the terrorist organisation Jaish-e-Mohammed was killed.

Army dogs have consistently played a vital role in numerous operations, risking their lives to assist soldiers. Many of these silent warriors have even shed blood in the service of the nation.
