Islamabad (Pakistan) – A new video of terrorist Saifullah Kasuri, the alleged mastermind of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, has surfaced, in which he is seen plotting a terrorist strike on India through the sea route. He has also issued threats of attacks on religious places in India. He is said to be a key terrorist associated with Hafiz Saeed’s organisation Lashkar-e-Taiba.

It may be recalled that the 2008 Mumbai terror attack was also carried out through the sea route. Similar plans of launching another such attack are now being spoken of.

In the video, Kasuri states that no place — land, air or sea — will remain safe for the enemy. He claims that the attack is “Allah’s will” and asserts that Pakistan will soon gain control over all strategic sectors.

He has also accused India of engaging in “water terrorism” (referring to the water shortage in Pakistan allegedly arising from issues related to the Indus Waters Treaty) and of creating instability in Balochistan. In the video, Kasuri openly claims that he has the support of the Pakistani military and that he is operating in coordination with it.

Editorial Perspective

Why does Bharat not enter Pakistan and eliminate those who openly issue such threats against Bharat even before they can carry out an attack ?
