Karnavati (Gujarat) — Those who conceal their identity to trap girls will be taught such a lesson that they will not dare to repeat such acts, Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi warned in the State Assembly. He said that if someone named “Salim” misrepresents himself as “Suresh” to deceive girls, he will not be forgiven. The government is not against love, but it will not tolerate fraud and fake identities in the name of relationships. Sanghavi stated that the government has decided to make marriage registration rules more stringent for couples who elope and marry.
