300 families re-enter Hindu Dharma in Old Goa inspired by Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Narendracharyaji Maharaj

Panaji (Goa) – On the occasion of the kalasharohan (installation of the temple spire) and pran-pratishtha (consecration ceremony) of Shri Dev Goveshwar Mahashiv Temple at Vayangani in Tiswadi, Old Goa, 300 families formally re-entered Hindu Dharma on 14 February. Many Saints and Mahants from various akharas across the country were present at the ceremony. Vedic scholar Bhalchandra Shastri Shouche Guruji performed the religious rituals on this occasion.

It was stated that foreign and non-Hindu missionaries had allegedly misled these families through false promises and inducements, compelling them to adopt another religion. The families later expressed regret over their decision.

Narendracharyaji Maharaj (Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Narendracharyaji Maharaj) reassured them and inspired them with his reformative teachings. Motivated by his guidance, they expressed their desire to return to Hindu Dharma. On 14 February, in his presence, they formally re-entered the Hindu Dharma. To date, Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Narendracharyaji Maharaj has facilitated the return of 1,53,643 individuals to Hindu Dharma who had previously converted. His religious outreach work continues uninterrupted, and many have praised his efforts.
