LAHORE (Pakistan) – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) gets 50 per cent of its funding from the International Cricket Council (ICC), which organises tournaments and distributes the profits among its board members. 90 per cent of the ICC’s funding comes from the Indian cricket market. That is, in a way, Indian professionals are running Pakistan cricket. If tomorrow the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, decides that we will not fund Pakistan, that will destroy the Pakistan cricket board. Hence, we will have to stand on our feet. Our dependence on the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) should be reduced by 10 per cent every year. Former Pakistan cricketer Ramiz Raja has said in a video that Bangladesh withdrew from the T20 Cricket World Cup and Pakistan was also going to boycott the tournament in support of it. However, considering the financial loss, it  changed its mind. The Pakistan team will play in the tournament; However, it has boycotted the match against India. Due to which the ICC can act against PakistanIt is said that the chances of Pakistan hosting ICC tournaments in the future are bleak.

Rs 2,200 crore was to be earned from Indo-Pak match !

The match between India and Pakistan is the highest-earning match in ICC tournaments. The ICC was to get $ 250 million (more than Rs 2,200 crore) from this tournament match.
