Government school principal Jaan Mohammad made Hindu students perform namaz !

Suspended for insulting Hinduism and saying Islam is superior

Mathura (Uttar Pradesh) – An incident has come to light at a Government school here where Hindu students were forced to recite namaz. Notably, this coercion was carried out by the school’s headmaster Jaan Mohammad, and it is alleged that through these actions he was attempting to indoctrinate the students. Mohammad pressured students to accept Islam, stating that “Islam is superior to other religions,” and also made derogatory remarks about Hindu Deities. He would also reprimand students for singing the national anthem. Following this serious incident, the Administration has suspended him.

Local BJP leader Durgesh Pradhan stated that after receiving complete information about the matter from parents, he lodged a complaint with the Primary Education Officer. Jaan Mohammad shows disrespect toward Hinduism. He invited people from the Tablighi community from outside and imparted Islamic teachings to students, instructing them to follow Islam.

Taking note of the seriousness of the case, Primary Education Officer Ratan Kirti has constituted a two-member inquiry committee. As the allegations against Jaan Mohammad were found to be prima facie valid in the preliminary report, he has been suspended. Further action will be taken based on the final inquiry report, Ratan Kirti informed.

• How do such religious fanatical and hateful people even reach the position of a Government school principal ? What is the use of merely suspending them ? They should be dismissed from service and strictest possible legal action should be taken against them.
• If a Hindu teacher had even slightly insulted Islam, let alone tried to teach Hindu religion to students, this news would have created an uproar across the world by now. In such a case, there would have been a race among pseudo-secularists to defame India’s image.
