Three Indian crew in the Russian ship seized by the US

Washington (US) – 3 Indians among crew as US special forces seize Russian oil tanker in the North Atlantic Ocean. It was revealed that there are 3 Indian crew members in the Russian oil tanker which was boarded and seized on the 7 January. Among its crew, there are 17 from Ukraine, 6 from Georgia, and 2 Russian citizens. The ship’s name is Marinera, and US has for the past month been on the lookout for a ship named ‘Bella 1’. This ships original name is ‘Bella 1’ and the Russians have renamed it ‘Marinera’. The Russian Foreign Ministry, in a statement carried by Russia’s state news agencies Tass and RIA Novosti, demanded that “the American side ensure humane and dignified treatment of them, strictly respect their rights and interests, and not hinder their speedy return to their homeland.”
