Actress Nushrratt Bharuccha visits Shri Mahakal; Maulana Barelvi throws tantrum

Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh) – ‘Actress Nushrratt Bharuccha’s worship and offering of water at the Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain are against Islam. From the perspective of Sharia, this is inappropriate conduct, and she should perform repentance and recite the Kalma’, Maulana Mufti Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi, National President of the All India Muslim Jamaat based in Bareilly, said.

After visiting the temple, actress Nushrratt Bharuccha expressed satisfaction with the arrangements for devotees. She said the arrangements made by the temple committee to ensure that every devotee could offer water were commendable. She also mentioned that she wishes to have darshan of Shri Mahakal every year. This was her second visit to the Shri Mahakal Temple.
