Trinamool Congress opposes BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari’s statement, ‘Teach Bangladesh a lesson like Gaza’

Kolkata (Bengal) – Bengal’s opposition leader and BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari recently stated that there were 100 crore Hindus in India. India had taught Pakistan a lesson through ‘Operation Sindoor’, likewise, they should handle the situation in Bangladesh as they did in Gaza. A video of Adhikari’s statement has surfaced. After this, the ruling Trinamool Congress said, while criticising that the BJP desired to be identified with hatred and bigotry. Adhikari once again showed his bigoted ideology. He is speaking about the genocide of Muslims.

The Trinamool Congress Party said in its ‘X’ post that there was no case against Suvendu Adhikari, who was heading towards becoming Hitler. No arrest has been made, no action has been taken under the ‘Unlawful Activities Prevention Act’. On 26 December, pro-Hindu organisations in Kolkata took out a march to the Bangladesh Deputy High Commission and protested. Suvendu Adhikari also participated in this along with 1,000 sadhus and saints, when he made the above statement.
