Kathmandu (Nepal) – In protest against the atrocities being committed against Hindus in Bangladesh, Hindus and saints took to the streets in large numbers in Janakpurdham. The protest march, which began from the Janaki Temple area in the ancient city of Janakpur, demanded justice for Deepu Chandra Das, a Hindu youth killed in Bangladesh. The protesters called the incident “inhuman and a crime against humanity in the name of religion.” They raised slogans demanding an immediate end to the violence against the minority Hindus and burned the Bangladeshi flag.
The protest march was organized by the ‘Ramanandia Vaishnav Sangh’. Mahant Ram Roshan Das, the successor of the Janaki Temple, said, “I have also warned the Nepalese government to put pressure on Bangladesh through all possible means. Nobody has the right to take another person’s life.”
Hindus are being burned alive during Yunus’s rule ! – Sheikh Hasina

Former Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said in her Christmas message that atrocities against Hindus are continuing unabated during the rule of interim government head Muhammad Yunus. Hindus are being burned alive. The current government, which has illegally seized power in Bangladesh, has interfered with the religious freedom of all communities. In particular, non-Muslims are being persecuted. Horrific incidents such as burning religious minorities to death have occurred. I am fully confident that the people of Bangladesh will not tolerate this ‘dark period’ for much longer.
