Two Hindu houses burnt to ashes by radical Muslims in Bangladesh

Doors locked from outside before setting fire

Dhaka (Bangladesh) – The number of atrocities against Hindus in the country is increasing day by day. On December 22nd, at 3:45 a.m., radical Muslims set fire to the houses of Sukha Sheel and Anil Sheel in West Sultanpur village of Chittagong District. Both the houses turned to the ashes in the fire. When the Muslims set fire to the house, the family members were inside. The Muslims had locked the doors from outside before setting fire to both the houses. Due to this, the families faced difficulty in escaping; but the animals in the house died in the fire. All the household belongings have been burnt to ashes due to the fire. No one has been arrested in this case yet. After this incident, the Police have increased patrols in the areas inhabited by Hindus.

The radical Muslims who set the house on fire have put up a sign next to the house. It reads, “Stop participating in any act against Islam immediately. If you do not do so, you will have to face the consequences. A close watch has been kept on the movements of all Hindus in this area. If Hindus do not take this warning seriously, their homes, properties and businesses will be destroyed. No one will come to save you. If you resist in any way, you will have to face the consequences.” Just as Hindus were threatened and expelled from Kashmir, the same is happening in Bangladesh. It is outrageous that no human rights organization in the world is taking action against this. – Editorial Perspective

  • In January 1993, fanatic Muslims had similarly locked the houses of Marathi Hindu families in Radhabai Chawl in Jageshwari, Mumbai, and set them on fire. This incident is reminiscent of that. After this, Hindus in Mumbai were outraged and they eventually forced the rioting fanatics to surrender.
  • Please note that while Hindus are being rounded up and killed in Bangladesh, not a single Muslim leader or their organization in India is raising a voice of protest or calling on Muslims in Bangladesh to stop the violence.
  • If such incidents continue to happen in Bangladesh, the Hindus there will become extinct in the next 2-3 years. Keeping this in mind, will the Indian Government take any action to protect the Hindus there ?
