What to do if your name is removed from the voter list ?

The Election Commission has appealed to voters that there is no need to panic if the name of a voter is excluded from the draft electoral roll. They can register their names again by filling ‘Form-6’. Form-6 can be obtained from the booth level officer. It is also available online on the Election Commission website. Apart from this, Form-6 is also available from the Tehsil, District Collector or Election Office. A copy of ration card, electricity bill or bank passbook can be given for address proof. A copy of birth certificate or 10th mark sheet will have to be attached for age proof. You can give this form to the local booth level officer or upload it online on the Election Commission website. The form can also be submitted by going to the nearest election office. After the verification is completed, if all the information is found correct, the name will be added to the final electoral roll.
