Saudi Arabia has executed as many as 170 Pakistanisin the last 10 years

Saudi Arabia, an Islamic nation is doing what India should have done ! India should learn from this !

Islamabad (Pakistan) – Among foreign nationals arrested and punished in Saudi Arabia, Pakistanis account for the highest number. Senior Pakistani journalist Zahid Gishkori revealed the grim situation of Pakistanis in Saudi Arabia through one of his videos. Zahid said that over the last 10 years, the highest number of crimes registered in Saudi Arabia have been against Pakistani nationals. Not only that, since 2014, a total of 170 Pakistani citizens have been executed in Saudi Arabia. These executions were carried out for murder and other serious crimes.

Zahid further said that a Pakistani national was executed in Saudi Arabia on 10 December. The year 2024 proved to be particularly bad for Pakistanis. In 2024 alone, 21 Pakistani prisoners were executed for various crimes.

Three Pakistanis executed so far in 2025

According to Zahid, in Saudi Arabia, 12 Pakistanis were executed in 2014, 14 in 2015, 5 in 2016, 13 in 2017, 18 in 2018, and 1 in 2019.So far in 2025, three Pakistanis have already been executed. The reasons for these executions differed in each case.

7,000 Pakistanis in prison

At present, more than 7,000 Pakistanis are incarcerated in Saudi prisons. Of these, 28 Pakistanis have been sentenced to death, while legal proceedings are going on against several others. In addition, 22 Pakistani women are in the prison in Saudi Arabia, two of whom have been sentenced to death.

Inactive Pakistani government

Zahid questioned why the Pakistani government and its embassies are not rendering any help to save Pakistanis in Saudi Arabia. The fact that Pakistanis face the highest number of executions in Saudi Arabia raises serious questions about the Pakistani government’s performance. The Pakistani government has failed to protect its own citizens. Those imprisoned for minor offences, who could be released merely by paying finesshould receive government assistance.
