Tamil Nadu’s anti-Hindu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin calls the divine language Sanskrit ‘dead’ !

(DMK stands for Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, meaning the Dravidian Progress Federation)

Chennai (Tamil Nadu) – Nearly two years after describing Sanatan Dharma as a disease like dengue and malaria, the DMK’s staunchly anti-Hindu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin has now targeted the divine language Sanskrit. Speaking at an event, he labelled Sanskrit a ‘dead language’. He claimed that while the Union Government allotted ₹ 2,400 crore for Sanskrit over the last decade, it allocated only ₹ 150 crore for the Tamil language. Udhayanidhi questioned Prime Minister Modi, asking why pressure was being placed on children to learn Hindi and Sanskrit when they were eager to learn Tamil. BJP expresses strong opposition !

Reacting to Stalin’s remarks, BJP leader and former Governor of Telangana Tamilisai Soundararajan said that belittling other languages was unacceptable to Tamil culture. She emphasised that while one must love one’s own language, one must also show respect to other languages.

Editorial Perspective

Such anti-Hindu Udhayanidhi Stalin must now face political sunset at the hands of the Hindu people of Tamil Nadu ! In the Assembly elections next year, it has become necessary to defeat Udhayanidhi and his DMK party !
