Navi Mumbai – Locals are being excluded from the recruitment process at the first terminal of the airport here. MNS city president Gajanan Kale alleged in a press conference that CIDCO has not formulated any policy to give priority to local and Marathi-speaking candidates, nor does the administration have information about how many local candidates got a chance. “If Marathi youths are not given jobs at Navi Mumbai airport, not a single flight will be allowed to take off from the airport as per the orders of MNS chief Raj Thakare and under the leadership of MNS leader Amit Thackeray and leader of Uddhav Thackeray group, Aditya Thackeray, a huge rally of all opposition parties will be taken out,” he said.
“1 lakh jobs at Navi Mumbai airport will be presented on a plate to migrants,” he criticised. There are a total of 4 terminals, and each terminal will have 25,000 jobs, i.e. a total of 1 lakh employment opportunities.
