Those who wanted to visit a gurdwara in Pakistan on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti were sent back from the border !

  • Pakistan’s attempt to divide Hindus and Sikhs !

  • However, the Sikhs were welcomed with a shower of flowers !

Lahore (Pakistan) – On the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti, Sikh and Hindu devotees from India had gone to visit the Gurudwara in Nankana, Pakistan, at his birthplace. On this occasion, Pakistan tried to create a divide between Hindus and Sikhs. Pakistan welcomed the Sikhs with a shower of flowers, while Hindus were denied permission to cross the border. Pakistani authorities insulted the Hindus and sent them back. 14 Hindu families had to return. These families are from Delhi, Laxmanpuri and Nawanshahr (Punjab).

After returning from the Attari border in Punjab, Gangaram and Amarchand said that they had taken a ‘visa’ to visit the Gurudhams in Pakistan through the ‘Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee’ and had gone with the Sikh pilgrims; however, at the Wagah border in Pakistan, the Pakistani passport officer and the army officer behaved very rudely with them. They said, “You are Hindu, why have you come with the Sikh pilgrims? Go to your temple, what are you doing in the Sikh Gurudwara?” At this time, the Hindus said, “Guru Nanak Dev Ji is worshipped not only by the Sikhs, but also by a large number of Hindu devotees and follow his teachings.” Still, the officials did not listen to them and sent them back. Some of these Hindu pilgrims were born in Pakistan; however, they are now permanent citizens of India and live in Delhi.

Indian government has taken note !

According to sources, India will officially present this issue to Pakistan. It is being said that ‘Pakistan is angry over ‘Operation Sindoor’ and is trying to create discord between Hindus and Sikhs. That is why it did this act’.
