Women candidates in Karnataka forced to remove earrings and nose rings during ‘K-SET’ exam !

Ballari (Karnataka) – During the ‘K-SET’ examination held on 2nd November, the Karnataka Examinations Authority instructed women candidates to remove earrings, nose rings, bracelets, and even sacred red threads tied on their wrists before entering the exam hall. The exam was conducted across 316 centres in 11 districts of the state. A total of 1.36 lakh candidates had registered for the test, which was held for 33 different subjects.
