
Ramanathapuram (Tamil Nadu) – India’s Vice President C P Radhakrishnan stated on 31st October that Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose did not die in the 1945 plane crash.

He was speaking to the media after attending the 118th birth anniversary celebration of freedom fighter Muthuramalinga Thevar at Pasumpon near Ramanathapuram.
Radhakrishnan said, “I do not have concrete evidence, but I firmly believe that Netaji did not die in that crash. Thevar, who was himself a follower of Netaji, had said this — and I have full faith in his words. Thevar never spoke untruth in his life. During the freedom struggle, Prime Minister Nehru wished to make Thevar a Chief Minister in recognition of his contribution, but Thevar declined. His sole aim was to ensure justice for Netaji.”
