Mrs Bhakti Daphale submitting the memorandum to Dy CM

Satara, 16th October – Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde promised to try and get the law against Love Jihad passed in the ensuing winter session of the State Legislative Assembly. Dy CM Shinde was here to attend a programme. A delegation of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) met him during his visit. Memorandum of demand for passing the anti-Love Jihad Act was handed over to Dy CM Shinde by Mrs Bhakti Daphale of HJS.
Mr Shambhuraj Desai, State Excise Minister and Guardian Minister of Satara District, who was present on the occasion, was also given the memorandum. He too responded positively to HJS demands.
