A nation that allowed the rape of 4 lakh women within its own borders has no moral right to lecture others

India slams Pakistan for raising the Kashmir issue at the United Nations Security Council

Geneva (Switzerland) – A country that bombs its own citizens and commits barbaric crimes such as the mass rape of 4 lakh women has no right to preach to others, India told Pakistan after it made false and exaggerated claims about Kashmir at the UN Security Council. Reaffirming its long-standing position, India asserted that “Jammu and Kashmir was, is, and will always remain an integral part of India.”

India’s Ambassador to the UN, Parvathaneni Harish, said, “This is the same Pakistan that, in 1971, launched ‘Operation Searchlight’ and authorised its military to systematically carry out massacres and the rape of 4 lakh women. The world is well aware of Pakistan’s deceitful propaganda.”

Editorial Perspective

Pakistan’s deceit and hostility are deeply ingrained. Just as a dog’s tail never straightens, Pakistan too cannot be changed — decisive and firm action is the only way to deal with it.
