Congress portrays Rahul Gandhi as Shriram in vulgar Dussehra hoarding in Uttar Pradesh

On Vijayadashami, hoarding depicted Gandhi battling various ‘Ravanas’ representing national issues

Lakshmanpuri (Uttar Pradesh) – Outside the Congress office here, a hoarding was put up on Vijayadashami showing Rahul Gandhi as Prabhu Shriram holding a bow and arrow. Congress state president Ajay Rai was depicted as Lakshman. The two were shown killing Ravan, whose various heads bore labels such as ‘vote thief’, ‘ED’ (Enforcement Directorate), corruption, inflation and Election Commission. (To depict the Election Commission — a pillar of democracy — as one of Ravan’s heads exposes Congress’ anti-democratic mindset. Given it ruled the country for six decades, one can only imagine how often it murdered democracy during that time – Editor)

BJP slams Congress for insulting Hindus

BJP spokesperson Rakesh Tripathi said, “Those who never respected Sanatan Dharma, who never even visited Ayodhya for Ram darshan, are today trying to present themselves as Ram. The people will surely teach a lesson to Congress, which has constantly insulted Hindu Deities.”
Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak asked, “On what basis is Congress comparing Rahul Gandhi to Bhagwan Shri Ram? This is a blatant insult to Hindu Dharma. Congress leaders must immediately apologise to the nation.”

“Rahul Gandhi is also working to bring Ram Rajya in the country” – Congress

Aryan Mishra, vice president of the Congress’ student wing NSUI, stated, “You (BJP) are not the sole custodians of Hindu Dharma. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi too is working to bring Ram Rajya to India.” (Mishra should be applauded for this feat of utter nonsense. – Editor)

Editorial Perspective

Congress lays bare its intellectual bankruptcy.

Please note – The intention behind publishing the above image is not to hurt anyone’s religious sentiments, but to bring attention to the mockery done by anti-Hindu elements. – Editor

Editorial Perspectives

  • The Congress’ act deeply hurts the religious sentiments of Hindus and warrants protests. Aggrieved Hindus expect the Yogi Adityanath government to take ‘bulldozer’ action against the responsible leaders.
  • The same Congress that once filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court claiming “Ram was imaginary” is now offending the sentiments of over 100 crore Hindus through such banners. Hindus should launch a nationwide movement to deregister such a party.
